ENVIRONMENT DESIGN

When customer experiences are place-dependent, it's often helpful to get a picture of what that place will look like.

StoryMiners® works with retail visualization experts (some have experience as Disney Imagineers®) who can help describe the special branded spaces your experience need in two ways:

• Emotionally, using sketches or watercolors, to deliver visual themes which connect the ideas of multiple stakeholders, including customers, into a unified view.

• Accurately, using computer graphics and 3D renderings to bring sizes, proportions, colors, textures, lighting, and many technical details into harmony.

The process begins with simple conversations, expertly guided by a combination of designers and artists who are skilled at listening and reflecting.

Rather than hard computer-lined graphics, they move on to softer media like sketches, storyboards, and watercolors to make it possible to communicate the gist of your idea through use of colors and free flowing line which translate to emotions. Don't worry, they won't hold back on sharing their own ideas during the process!

Using watercolor visualization storyboards and sketches, your ideas can leapfrog into reality as your audiences gain more understand and grow more attached to the energy and direction of your ideas. This important step using 'softer' media gives everyone on a project the opportunity to see their own ideas in it which helps earn authentic buy-in and win higher levels of willingness to cooperate down the road.

As the ideas and clear boundaries and connections appear between big parts of your ideas, the medium changes to architectural renderings, 3D models, fly-through simulations (or other tools that make sense for your project and its scale). These hard-line tools accurately represent the initial feelings and direction of your project yet also convey the detailed, engineering-level specification needed for budgeting, construction, and further development by tradespeople.

Once you visualize your ideas, others will realize their value.
